Everton Sierra Leone is a community-based football project launched by my friend, Amjata Bayoh.

Inspired by Everton Football Club, one of England’s most successful and historic teams, it aims to unite people in the Brookfields area of the capital, Freetown, through a love of football.

As well as a team to provide a focal point for the area’s fanatics, its goal is to encourage youths to further their education in order to improve their prospects.
